We are passionate educators with many years of experience in teaching and literacy intervention. We are dedicated to improving literacy outcomes for young people who are struggling to decode and read. Our mission is to unlock reading success by equipping secondary pupils, Post-16 learners and young adults with a fully digital, age appropriate, systematic phonics system.

Every young person deserves to feel safe before they can thrive. Read Revive has been built around trauma-informed principles, providing a calm, nurturing and predictable learning experience. Consistent routines, gentle language and flexible delivery reduce pressure and create emotional safety, allowing each young person to engage in their own individual growth journey with confidence. The system is non-prescriptive, enabling practitioners to respond to the needs of the learner rather than expecting the learner to fit the system.
Person-to-person connection is at the heart of Read Revive and is embedded throughout the entire system. We believe that trusting relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning, whether strengthening existing relationships or creating new ones. Every interaction is designed to build trust, encourage communication and celebrate success together, creating an environment where young people feel seen, valued and ready to learn.
Every young person follows their own individual growth journey. Read Revive is a flexible, non-prescriptive system that places the young person at the centre of their learning. Practitioners are encouraged to adapt sessions to individual needs, interests and readiness while maintaining the core principles of the system. Through gentle language, meaningful choice and reduced demands, Read Revive supports autonomy and engagement, making it particularly well suited to young people with PDA and those who thrive in responsive, relationship-based environments.
